Are You Passionate, Like I Am, About Helping Others?
Volunteer Your Time, Your Talents or Your Services to Those In Need

Volunteerism and helping others has always been in my blood. As a former social worker, I am constantly seeing areas in my own community, where people need a helping hand!
Recently, I stumbled upon this wonderful organization called "Lotsa Helping Hands". It has made it very simple for me, to organize myself and others with the same passion, so that we can serve our Sacramento area community more effectively.
One thing I noticed, is that families and individuals don't always have a support network that they can count on when they are sick, hurting or in transition. Sacramento's Lotsa Helping Hands is intended to help those individuals who don't have a support network or may not qualify for assistance from organizations.
Will You Join Me?
There is no cost to join.
No cost to ask for help.
Just people, wanting to help other people!!
Lotsa is a private, web-based resource where individuals can create ‘circles of community’ to organize family caregivers, committees, volunteer projects and events, military and veteran’s families, and much, more!! To date, more than 60,000 Lotsa Helping Hands communities have been created around the world. The program is nationally recognized by organizations including the National Health Council, the Alzheimer’s Association and the National Family Caregivers Association. Lotsa has also been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered.
